- Puligny-Montrachet Village
- Region
- Village Appellation: Côte de Beaune, in the Côte D’Or
- Location
- Puligny-Montrachet (pronounced Mont-Rachet), like Chassagne, is the most perfect expression of Chardonnay. A few metres from the Grand Crus, the Appellation d'Origine Contrôlée was established in 1937 and offers a white wine with a strong personality and a distinguished reputation. Particularly by the hamlet of Blagny.
- The Terroir
- The vineyards are often on brown limestone soils, or limestone soils with alternating banks of clay-limestone marl, sometimes deep, sometimes directly on the hard rock. The clay silts are coarse at the top of the slope and finer lower down. Exposure to the east and south at an altitude of 230 to 320 metres.

- CHARACTERISTICS OF THE WINE
- A colour embroidered with gold, brilliant, with a halo of greenish highlights. These tones become more intense with age. Its bouquet combines hawthorn, mature grape, almond paste, hazelnut, amber, lemongrass, green apple. You will find lactic (butter, warm croissant) and mineral (flint) aromas, as well as honey. The body and bouquet merge in a subtle harmony: full of grace under an inflexible nature and remarkable concentration.
